AIA Toledo Website Update – Changes Are Coming

In the spring of 2002 AIA Toledo took a big step forward and launched our current website, bringing news and information to our chapter, and introducing our chapter to the public. Announcements, continuing education, and calendar of events are just some of the features that AIAToledo.org has provided the chapter over past 6 years. Each year our site continues to attract more visitors, and we discover that there are more ways that our chapter can utilize the web to our advantage.

In our continued effort to increase member benefits, we are planning to introduce more interactive features to the site including an interactive calendar, and the ability to RSVP to monthly chapter meetings on line.

AIA National is also encouraging local chapters to be more closely identified with AIA branding through their “One AIA” initiative. One component of this initiative is to have a more consistent look that links local chapters to each other and to AIA National. The timing is ideal to freshen our website and take another big step forward.

AIA Toledo is also seeking a volunteer help maintain the site after the redesign. The time commitment is typically one or two hours per month (less over the summer months), and AIA Toledo will provide the necessary software.
