ArchiWire - What is it?

…….The news wire service of the AIA, is the premier source of news and information about architects and their profession for press and news media. ArchiWire supplies media outlets with valuable information on architectural projects and related professional, firm and AIA news. ArchiWire provides architectural firms an avenue to gain media attention at extremely low prices.

ArchiWire - Why would I use it?
..... One of the greatest frustrations for an architecture firm is getting published. Nothing can enhance a firms' bottom line more than having their projects appear in the press, whether a local paper's home section or a national magazine like Architecture, Architectural Record, or Business Week.

There are several options available:
1. You can use one of the major wire services, like AP Newswire. This will reach a lot of press, but is not targeted to the architectural press and it can be very expensive at $450 to $500 per release.
2. You can have your marketing department (if you have one) do extensive research on those media outlets that are most likely to publish your project, and send an individual press release to each of them. If they have time. This, also, can be very expensive and time consuming.
3. You can use the new wire service developed by AIA specifically for architects and the architecture press, AIA ArchiWire.

So if you have news about your people, your firm, or a special project that recently opened or won an award, make the news with AIA Archiwire.

Also, you can post:
• up to two pictures (of people or projects),
• as well as your firm logo,
• basic information about your firm.
And your release will remain online and available for the press to review for one full year!

See it now and post your first release at: http://archiwire.aia.org.
