State of Ohio Continuing Education Requirements Reminder

Effective January 1, 2006, all Ohio registered architects are required to earn Continuing Education in order to renew their license. The first two year renewal period affected started on January 1, 2006 and ends on December 31, 2007. Twenty-four (24) contact hours are required every two-year renewal period. Sixteen of the hours must be in the areas of health, safety, and welfare. Registrants should keep written evidence of participation, such as Certificates of Completion or the AIA transcript.
